I’ve been waiting on this build for the better part of 18 months, and was thrilled to receive shipping from @projectkeyboard recently for a buddy’s fantastic GMK Dolch R5. The set inspired me to revive Red Alert with R5, and I felt it deserved a dedicated build upon arrival.
Around the same time I picked up this sweet extra deskmat by Lewis. Serendipitous match.
I had been holding this Holy Moonlight Spacejams by Sodie and Sorachi for this build, but my first Egg Pilot by Nightcaps & Bro is a great match to this build (and a sick cap, to boot).
Oil Kings are amazing, btw - these are stock, and felt appropriately speedy for the board. 🏎
