Due to significant complications with our previous manufacturer, we’ve made the tough decision to change our approach for the CAPS project. It is unfortunate, having invested so much time, energy, and costs into the original tooling, but we see no other way to move forward without re-doing what has already been done.
After numerous rounds of revisions, we concluded that the quality, particularly the consistency of the legends, did not meet the standards our customers are used to. While this was a challenging decision, we are optimistic about our new direction and confident in the improvements we are implementing.
Good news is, to get things back on track and to meet our requirements, we have established a new manufacturing partnership. This collaboration has been underway for several weeks now, and production is progressing well. The new manufacturer has a great track record of producing double-shot keycaps. They employ a different method that utilizes a larger number of smaller molds. Some of the CAPS molds are already complete.
We are fully committed to delivering these long-awaited CAPS sets to you as soon as they are ready.

Equipped with a two-stage 42g progressive spring, the FROG provides a lighter and “hoppier” typing experience. It also features a new triple layered pin design which reinforces durability and stability.
Of course, the FROG inherits all of your favourite characteristics from the DUCK including:
- Signature moulded TPU pads (reducing the need for switch films)
- Optimized factory lubrication
- Long-pole POM stem
- Premium Construction: Polycarbonate Top Housing / Nylon Bottom Housing
- 5-pin MX switch compatibility
Alongside the lightened 42g spring, the FROG switch also utilises improved pins! Rather than being purely stamped, the pin leg is wrapped with an additional piece of sheet metal, providing strength and reducing chances of pin legs bending on insertion. 🐸💚
