i never thought manifesting would be something that id ever pull off, but this is my story about how i ended up working on

i guess it all starts back in may 2019 before i did anything in film, when i got the chance to be an extra in one of
@mxmtoon 's music videos. It was my first exposure to anything in entertainment, being on camera, and i had a lot of fun meeting new people, so wanting to do more, i ended up finding my way onto paid work doing 13reasons why. After doing a few episodes of that, i went home and jokingly listed out some dream productions i wanted to be a part of, with one of those on that list being Shang Chi
At this point
@simuliu had been cast by marvel a few months prior, so i got to meet him at a charity bball game where i got a picture with him and had him sign my board. I'd start doing commercials soon after, even landing my first on-camera principal gig for stubhub, where i learned i wanted to try working on the crew side of production after seeing how much work they did up close
Fast forward to Sept 2020, i've worked as a PA on some student sets and on one feature film when i get a call from trent (who is an absolute homie), my lead from the previous feature, who tells me that his friend is hiring people for a PA job in a couple weeks -didn't know what job is for, but wanted to see if i wanted to work on it. id heard shang chi might have been gearing up soon and so i had a good feeling in my gut about it so i asked him to forward my info
I think it was a combination of nervousness and excited energy because the next thing i knew, it was the next month and after phone calls back and forth across 3 days, then emailing my professors to say id be missing school for a week and a half, i found myself in SF chinatown working with the 2nd unit stunt team on Marvel's shang chi! Even though i had pretty much the lowest job as a Covid PA, running errands, helping test crew members, enforcing covid guidelines on set, and whatever other gruntwork needed to get done, i always caught myself thinking
