This letterpress printing of If I Must Die (2011), famous poem by Palestinian poet and professor Refaat Alareer, murdered by Israeli airstrike in December 2023, has raised $3500 in proceeds for the Refaat Alareer Camp through the Sameer Project. Now in its third printing sales of this poster will continue to support the Sameer Project and the Middle East Children’s Alliance.
today is the nakba anniversary
The mass displacement and dispossession of Palestinians during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war continues even through today. The result of the war was the permanent displacement of more than half of the Palestinian population.
Today we remember the ongoing affects of the tragic events.
