Gun violence is hitting Texas families hard. It touches neighborhoods in every corner of our state and leaves communities dealing with consequences that last far beyond a headline.
I don’t shy away from tough fights, and I don’t back down from hard issues. This is one of them. In a primary where records are being compared, their support makes clear who Texans can count on to fight when it matters.

This endorsement comes as von Wilpert is the leading candidate to unseat incumbent Darrell Issa, a long-time gun industry ally who has consistently voted against the safety of Californians.

Gun violence is a senseless epidemic – and one we can end.
As governor, we created background checks and a ban on large capacity magazines. In the Senate, we passed the strongest national gun safety law in decades.
Honored to have @brady.pac continue this fight with us.
