WOW, so much to be said about this particular fight. Coming back from a string of losses as well as injuries, re-injuring my knee at the beginning of this camp, and an entire mountain of personal life trials & tribulations—life of course does not stop just because you have a fight lined up. Despite everything I felt so focused and committed on THIS. I do this sport because I love it & it gives me a deep sense of purpose & teaches me so many new & unexpected lessons. On a technical aspect, we’ve been working a lot on mixing up my game and not becoming too stuck in one pattern of doing things. I don’t believe I did *everything* I wanted to do, but the over-arching theme of this camp has been flowing & making adjustments as necessary (which has also been the theme in life as well lol). Before I went out my coach Bryan reminded me that I am an artist & that fighting is my opportunity to express myself. So I went out there, danced a little, threw some limbs around, and had such a fun fun time! Still a lot to work on & as always forward we go!!
