Please take the time to go listen to it, she’s an amazing artist and person. I honestly can’t believe it’s out. It was Darian and I first attempt at creating a full project from scratch, in some ways I think it made it so much more fun and easy because neither of us had any real expectations or arbitrary rules set out. I’ve learned so much not only about creating, but about myself and the trust or lack-there of I had. The word “Producer” had changed DRASTICALLY from when I first started. I found myself less and less trying to do everything on my own (which is an ego-driven trait and something I tend to always fall into) and started setting up sessions with amazing musician friends of ours and taking on a more “orchestrating” role in this whole process. Letting go of what I think is best for the project. Letting things happen and see where they go which turned out to be SO necessary for this project. So thankful for all of the hands and minds involved. It really took a village on every front and thank you to everyone who has been constantly supporting Let The Leaves Fall Dig In Bone Apple Teeth

1 year ago, dearly collective released it’s 2nd round of singles as part of “The Session Pt.2.” One night, while listening to the final mix for “Like a Dog,” we randomly started recording on two separate handycams. That footage is what you’re seeing now; none of it was planned or rehearsed. We captured the moment in a magically synchronized way, revealing what we all felt had to be the official music video for the song. It seemed akin to the point behind this entire collective, to learn to trust our abilities to create something amazing in the moment by removing the obstacles that allow for the window of opportunity of overthinking. Fully committing to a candid artistry that so often tends to be overpolished by the strive for perfectionism. Thank you for listening and watching what that process has looked like for us these last couple years. We love you, dearly.

Meet the Dearly Collective, an artist collective that includes 6149 artists @thejacksonrau and @booomgelo as well as @swoonlikeyou and @andreachahayed . Earlier this year the four of them got together at a house with no plan or preconceived idea and finished three songs that they dropped 5 days later not immediately on streaming but instead on a website dearlycollective.com that included a dropbox folder with 3 wav files. A month or so later they started releasing the songs on streaming. Gelo recently has released ‘Same as Before’ featuring Andrea Chahayed and Jackson Rau just released ‘Iconoclast’ a full EP earlier this month.
