Meet director Emma Westenberg, the newest addition to Bonkers United. A Gerrit Rietveld graduate based in Amsterdam, Emma has built a distinctly pop aesthetic: a confident mix of classic visual tropes, fashion and fine art, with the occasional musical heart beating underneath. Her work spans films and music videos for Troye Sivan, Janelle Monáe, Anouk, ASOS and Vogue. Her Pynk video for Janelle Monáe travelled the world, and her debut feature ‘Bleeding Love’ starring Ewan McGregor premiered at SXSW. We’re super psyched to be working with her, expecting colour, character, plus the occasional dance number, which we’d love to see last forever.
