Some stills from my thesis project Big Country, a narrative film exploring how 19th-century colonial myths, like divine land entitlement, persist today through the treatment of land as a financial asset. Using found footage to frame finance workers as modern frontiersmen, the film reveals how settler-colonial logics have not ended but evolved into new forms of market-based domination.
The film will be shown at DAE Graduation Show during @dutchdesignweek (18-26 October)
