Trends kommen und gehen wie Jahreszeiten. Diese Bilder erinnern mich an das Beständige. An meine Werte. Schönes Licht, ein paar Herzstücke – und die Geschichte dahinter. Diese Fotostrecke entstand vor einigen Jahren, aufgenommen von @christophtheurer – bisher unveröffentlicht. Heute zeige ich sie zum ersten Mal.
 Was mich daran am meisten berührt: Ich erkenne in jedem Bild nicht nur meine Wohnung, sondern meine Haltung. Denn ich umgebe mich bewusst mit Dingen, hinter denen Menschen stecken, die ich persönlich kenne. Neben meinen Möbeln finden sich Keramik, Textil, Glas, Holz, Kunst – ebenso Käse, Brot, Wein. Das Leben eben. Nicht ein Algorithmus hat diese Auswahl kuratiert, sondern Beziehungen, Begegnungen, Gespräche, gemeinsame Überzeugungen. Zeitloses Design und Qualität bedeutet für mich nicht Stil um des Stils willen. Es bedeutet: Dinge wählen, die bleiben. Die man weitergeben kann. These images remind me of what endures. Of my values. Beautiful light, a few cherished pieces – and the story behind them. This series was shot a few years ago by christoph – never published until now. Today, I'm sharing it for the first time. What moves me most: in every image I recognise not just my home, but my attitude. I surround myself with things made by people I know personally. Alongside my furniture: ceramics, textiles, glass, art – cheese, bread, wine. Life, essentially. None of this was curated by an algorithm. It was shaped by relationships, conversations, shared convictions. Timeless design and quality, to me, isn't about style for style's sake. It means choosing things that last. Things worth passing on.

LADEN INNENAUSBAU x @freiheitvinothek Planung, Gestaltung & Realisation Ein ruhiges Eck inmitten der Ulmer Innenstadt, nur einen Steinwurf vom Ulmer Münster entfernt. Aus einer unscheinbaren 120-qm-Fläche durfte ich eine Vinothek mit Wohlfühlcharakter gestalten – einen Ort zum Verkosten, Entdecken und Verweilen. Erdige Wandtöne, inspiriert von den Böden der Reben, treffen auf flexibel einsetzbare Möbelstücke wie Tisch El Caballito und Stehbank Bock @bock_standingbench . Ergänzt durch maßgefertigte Regale, Rollwägen und Tresen entstand ein Raum, der Funktion, Atmosphäre und Handwerk verbindet. Seit Oktober 2019 begleitet Marcel Mühlberger und sein Team Weinbegeisterte und Neugierige durch sein Sortiment – immer mit Blick auf Herkunft, Geschichte und Geschmack. I was given the opportunity to design a wine bar with a feel-good atmosphere in an inconspicuous 120 m² space – a place to taste, discover, and linger. Earthy wall colors, inspired by the soil of the vineyards, meet versatile furniture pieces such as the El Caballito table and the Bock @bock_standingbench . Complemented by custom-made shelves, rolling carts, and counters, the result is a space that combines function, atmosphere, and craftsmanship. Vor zwei Wochen hat in Zürich das @houseofinteriors.ch eröffnet – ein Ort voller Handwerkskunst, Design und Innovation. Ich freue mich sehr, dass meine Möbel hier zwei Monate lang Teil dieses inspirierenden und pulsierenden Raums sein dürfen - begleitet von zweier Leuchten von @eloa_unique_lights sowie meinen Böcken für @arco_furniture . Ich habe für das House of Interiors eine Arbeitslandschaft mit und für Haltung gestaltet – ein Raumkonzept, das den Wechsel zwischen Austausch, Konzentration und Rückzug ermöglicht. Unterschiedliche Arrangements mit Tisch El Caballito, Stehbank Bock, Sessel Natú, Notebook-Stativ Era sowie dem KultPult Scala laden dazu ein, Haltungen neu zu denken. Die Installation kann bis 26.11. werktags von 10:00-17:00 Uhr besucht werden. FRAU CAZE & friends POP-UP ‚NATURE MORTE’ AFTER ‘NATURA OBSERVATA’ happily presents: FRAU CAZE Drawing inspiration from everyday life and her love of nature, Carolin Zeyher designs furniture and interiors that combine her whimsical, naturalist aesthetic with her penchant for functionality — she uses her work as a vessel to tell unique stories that bring people together. @fraucaze   FLOWERS AND MOODS Natalie Foti is an Italian flower designer based in Berlin. She draw her inspiration by observing nature  and it’s relentless transformation; any floral compositions by Flowers and Moods, Natalie’s flowers design project, reflect her study of Sogetsu, the modern school of Japanese ikebana, whose elements are carefully selected with regard to fragility and imperfection, allow them to function as silent initiators of their surroundings.  @flowersandmoods   MATEO BONAVITA Working slowly to create new forms, all the pieces I create are unique & hand-carved with special attention to details. Carving has become a form of meditation for me, and the way I bond with the wood makes the process feel like a magical act. I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and now based in Berlin. mateobonavita   ALEXANDRE LIBERATO Alexandre Liberato is a Portuguese visual artist based in Berlin. Liberato’s project focuses on geometry and the body, creating an abstract inclusive space to exist, to contemplate the sublime – a sensibility that touches everyone equally, transforming them from the inside. alexandreliberatogallery AMARGÉRO Katja Lebelt, originally from Berlin, is a Mallorca based costume and stage designer who is running an organic farm and producing wine and and extraordinary aperitif made from her own bitter oranges, 100% natural and bottled unfiltered. The successful showroom concept „Design Werkschau“ from the Fruchthof in Munich is being adapted to Vienna. The idea is to create a platform for architects, interior designers and creators in Vienna named cowerk I DesignPalais @cowerk_designpalais and will open on February 22nd, 2024.
