“Forget the saying that you only live once. You only die once. You live everyday.” This quote from a client’s speech this week has me feeling reflective today. I went into this year embracing my new chapter as a mystery and adventure, and it has not disappointed. It has been filled with love, support, surprises, frustration and regret in equal measure. I’m finding that I’m stronger than I ever knew and have grown so much just in the last few years. But I have also been humbled and understand that I still have much growing left to do. By the half-year mark, all of the major logistical and emotional burdens that I carried into the new year will have been overcome. I sense that a whole world of possibilities will open up for me, and I can only hope and pray that I have adequately prepared myself for it. I suspect I’ll look back at what I thought was the start of a new chapter and realize that it was just a forward, setting the table for the real chapter yet to come. Regardless of what unfolds, I remain excited, hopeful, optimistic, and most of all, thankful for each day of this amazing life. 🥹
