Katie and Alec’s love story has always felt like a Hallmark movie — the kind that sweeps you off your feet and makes you believe in serendipity. It all began on a snowy night at DePauw University, where fate brought them together at a Christmas party called the Jingle Bell Swing. One shared karaoke duet of All I Want for Christmas Is You, and their hearts had already begun to intertwine. ✨ From spontaneous summer adventures to cozy mornings with their cats, Mia and Sukki, their story unfolded with the kind of quiet magic only true love brings. And when it came time to say “I do,” their wedding day felt like the most enchanting chapter yet — and we’re overjoyed to see it featured on @ruffledblog ! Katie floated through the day in a floral-printed Monique Lhuillier gown, like something out of a secret garden dream. They exchanged vows at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church before heading to Kennedy Estate, where Simply Sacred Events curated a celebration that was both elegant and heartfelt. Pomp and Bloom filled the space with lush, colorful florals that looked as though they had been plucked from a painter’s canvas. And peaking of - we brought our own hand painted pink background along for some iconic portraits of the bride and groom. Guests laughed over candlelit dinners and sweet ice cream as the sun melted into the Indiana sky, and DJ Sound Solution transformed the night into Katie and Alec's very own club! What a blast! It was a day full of beauty, heart, and joy — and we couldn’t be more honored to have captured it. Congrats Katie and Alec!
