The wait is over: Bobby Previte‘s «Second Arrow» is out today!!!
Previte explores the nexus between notated and improvised music on his first small-band recording in some 20 years, together with stunning pianist Angelica Sanchez, the exciting guitarist Wendy Eisenberg, cross-genre woodwind hero Matt Bauder, and his long time collaborator, the legendary bassist Jerome Harris.
Beautifully recorded as they played their first notes at state-of-the-art studio Firehouse 12, «Second Arrow» documents the raw energy and spontaneity of a band on the edge, navigating and ultimately subverting Previte’s new, seductive, and, as always surprising, music.

Last night, my Ramapo Digital Performance students crushed their final concert. Tonight, second arrow at the Van Dyck in Schenectady and Tomorrow at the Local in Saugerties.
