Our new WetLink Penetrator JPT has a wider internal diameter to let the whole cable pass through, jacket included, no stripping required. That's a big deal for cable types like coax, where the jacket is actually part of how the cable works.

Meet DORIS, the worldâs newest deep sea camera.
Last week we had the opportunity to work and train with some incredible people out at the Hawaii Institute for Marine Biology or âHIMBâ lab on Moku o Loâe island aka Coconut Island. The mission was to learn how to successfully deploy and use DORIS, the brain child of @oceandiscleague and @bluerobotics . DORIS has the ability to dive down to 6000 meters (19,685 feet) and take video footage as well as collect other scientific data. We donât know whatâs more shocking, her capabilities or her price tag!! DORISâs creators are aiming for a $10k price tag, making her more much more affordable compared to anything else on the market. DORIS is creating an accessible pathway to exploring the deep sea. Weâre thrilled to be a part of her journey and hope to begin deploying her off of Resilience beginning this summer.

This week, weâre at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology (@himb_soest ) welcoming Pacific Island partners for a hands-on workshop with DORIS, our low-cost, modular deep-sea camera system capable of reaching 6,000 meters. Together with @bluerobotics and @pacioos , weâre building the skills, connections, and tools needed for communities across the Pacific to explore and monitor their own deep ocean backyard. #DeepOcean #OceanScience #PacificIslands #MarineResearch #OceanExploration
A few weeks ago we hosted a 2-day workshop at Virginia Wesleyan University, bringing together organizations across the Blue Economy, from the VA Aquarium to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation to Old Dominion University.
The goal? To pilot a Blue Tech Hub: a regional marine tech library where coastal communities can share information, data, and technology for research, restoration, permitting, and education.
We demonstrated the BlueBoat, and then dove into the real questions: Does this community want a hub? What should it look like? Who owns it? How does it get funded? So, we spent time co-designing what a hub could look like for Virginia Beach â governance, funding, tech needs, and all.
Now weâre looking forward to launching the first Blue Tech Hub in Virginia Beach later this year.
Interested in building something like this in your coastal community? Let us know! Comment below, DM us, or click the link in our bio to learn more.

Hi! We sent a small team to Chile to check out AquaSur 2026 and there was A LOT to take in! Salmon farming is huge in Chile, and it takes a ton of tech to run a responsible farm. We got to see how our tech is part of that equation.
Rafael talked software, David loaded up on R&D intel, and we wrapped it all up with a blueTIDES After Dark in Puerto Varas with our incredible partners at @adentu_ing
Turns out some of the products we've been working on (coming very soon!) are exactly what these operations need. We love Chile!
Weâre constantly revising and improving our products, which leaves us with excess, scrap, whatever youâd like to call it :). Rather than throwing things away, sometimes we offer these materials (for a steal!) over on The Abyss.
Find outdated versions, aesthetic imperfections, overstock, and more! So whether youâre working with a tight budget or looking for a retired product, donât forget to check out The Abyss!
Alsooooo, FYI the fully rated aluminum tubes are BACK! So, if you donât need to go to 1000m, catch the lower-rated tubes over on The Abyss (link in the ol bio!).
Enjoy these âretiredâ and âoutdatedâ photos in honor of all the things still available on The Abyss đ
Every now and again, you might find yourself in a situation where you just need a longer enclosure. Weâve got you! Enter the Coupler Flange. You can now connect multiple watertight enclosures. AND! Theyâre RAILS compatible (yay).
So, itâs time to build the tube of your dreams! Find all the deets on our website :)
London called, and we answered â
A few weeks ago, Eldin and Larissa headed to Oceanology International where they were able to connect with @deepwaterexploration , @jmrobotics , Seaber, @cascadiaseaweed , and more.
The best part? Seeing not only our friends, but a ton of our components out in the wild. Until next time, London!
