This state-of-the-art facility will be a hub for marine research, sustainable tech, and ocean innovation. And announced this week, May 29th is also now "AltaSea Blue Economy Day" in LA, emphasizing our commitment to sustainable ocean industries. The Center will drive economic growth, job creation, and advancements in marine science. We’ve got power! It was an honor to have former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger help us plug in the final panels of our 4-acre solar array! We’re so happy he joined us for the celebration of another historic milestone in AltaSea’s history. The installation will provide enough energy to power AltaSea’s 35-acre campus, sending its excess energy to the grid.
