LA CURA BERLIN live at Gaswerk Music Concerts 21.05.2026 / 20:00 / @block1.berlin / @gaswerksiedlung_berlin / @gaswerk.music.days La Cura first came together in April 2021 during an event in solidarity with the national strike and the popular demonstrations that took place in Colombia. Out of this political and cultural moment, the band was formed in Berlin and has since continued to bring its vibrant sound to stages across the city.
La Cura is a call of the earth - a musical journey through the roots and traditions of Colombia. The band blends rhythms from the Colombian Caribbean such as cumbia, fandango, chalupa, porro, and tambora, creating a powerful and lively soundscape. Driven by the beating of drums, the melodies of voices, and the vibrant sound of winds, their music invites the audience to move.
La Cura transmits pure joy and collective energy, infecting the crowd with rhythm and dance and celebrating the spirit of Colombian musical traditions.
