One Battle After Another!! So grateful I got to have a small part working on this movie as a 1st Unit Set Lighting Technician. ❤️💡🔌 The cast and crew are so talented and I cried with joy watching them win their Oscar’s last night. I will never forget this incredible experience!! Thank you so much to the people who brought me on this project. You know who you are.

When I joined the union in 2021, I discovered that women made up about 3% of our local’s membership. So it’s always a real pleasure when I run into another woman in lighting!
That’s why I was thrilled to see the launch of the @girlsjustwannaloadtrucks page in March, 2025. I instantly recognized Nica and Lulu when I saw them at Cinegear LA in June. They interviewed me for the page, and l’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with them on a few projects since then, including several “5 Questions” videos coming out this month and next!
This page has been an amazing space to connect and collaborate with other women in lighting from all over the world. Their mission—community, equality, workshops, and connection, resonates deeply with me as a technician. I love what they’re building, and I’m here for all of it.
