“When we say Black girl magic, I think the magic is in our hair…” - @ursulastephen One of my favorite quotes from the entire series, because just like @elainewelteroth says, “Black women love to talk about our hair!” Ep 3 of our series “The Crown Effect” is all about HAIR and for so many of us our beauty journey starts with our hair. We’ve ALL had to unlearn societal pressures on what is “acceptable for Black hair” and learn to be happy and confident with the hair that grows out of our head. Why should we have to limit ourselves and wear our hair just one way to be deemed “beautiful”.
