R3 Soundsystem is organising an anti-racism protest rave in London’s Trafalgar Square for later this month 📢 Taking place on Saturday, 28th March between 1PM and 6PM – to coincide with the Together Alliance’s national demo against the far-right – House Against Hate will play host to a huge stack of DJs, including Ben UFO, Shygirl, Hot Chip, Daniel Avery, Tash LC, Horse Meat Disco, DJ Paulette and L-Vis 1990, and many many more. R3 Soundsystem founder and DJ Gideön will also play. Organised in association with Together Alliance, Choose Love, Amnesty International Black Artist Database, Love Music Hate Racism and Homo-Centric Records, the rave follows a similar protest events in 2024, 2022 and 2019. “As the racist far-right ratchets up their anti-immigration, anti-trans, xenophobic rhetoric, the UK’s recent participation in Israel’s genocide in Gaza has galvanised our dance music community,” said Gidëon in a press release. He continued: “On 28th March, we will gather in Trafalgar Square to recognise this and attempts to dismantle UK multiculturalism - we must urgently come together in resistance. Dance music has always soundtracked protest and activism. Now is the time to reboot this tradition and kick-start the revolution, united as one.” Swipe to look back at previous protest events with R3 Soundsystem ➡️ Read more on djmag.com 🔗

This Saturday December 6, @blackartistdatabase ’s own @niks_bad lands in LA, joining @bambounouu @_james_bangura and @1morning_ for FAW X B.A.D NIKS is an inimitable self-taught producer and DJ, steadily rising and making waves. Not only a pillar in the community for championing the underground, but a staple and integral part of contemporary dance music. The South East London-based artist has paved the way in the scene for herself and her sound. Her sets promise a forward-thinking sound that is an amalgamation of UK percussive elements, and the influential 90s/00s groovy, rhythmic sounds. Her production prowess steadily cements this, flexing and flitting between bouncy, bass-heavy production and a distinctive downtempo flair. NIKS has remained truly devoted to the underground scene across her career, showcasing a steady and admirable rise within the space, carving out room for a sound and presence that has become synonymous with futuristic dance music. @1morning_ has quickly emerged as one of techno’s most promising new voices, channeling the raw intensity of ’90s techno with a forward-thinking, deeply funky edge. His rise began in Los Angeles’ warehouse scene, where high-energy, vinyl-driven sets earned him a loyal following and cemented his place as a staple of the U.S. underground circuit — proving himself an unstoppable force in the American techno landscape. Beyond the booth, his own productions — marked by rugged drum work, soulful grooves, and analog grit — have circulated widely among trusted selectors. That momentum skyrocketed him onto the global radar in 2024, leading to appearances at iconic institutions like Berlin’s legendary Tresor, Blitz, and a massive breakout at Draaimolen Festival in 2025. His sets cut through trend cycles with clarity and soul, resonating with an unshakable sense of purpose — all fueled by his deep passion for timeless, soulful dance music. Don’t miss 1morning this Saturday - tickets via RA 🎟️

ON DECEMBER 6, BAMBOUNOU LANDS IN LA. Born in Paris with Malian and Polish roots, @bambounouu emerged in the early 2010s as a defining voice of France’s new electronic wave. His sound—hypnotic house warped by IDM-leaning fractures and constant tension—quickly set him apart. From boundary-pushing releases on 50Weapons to conceptual work for AD93, he’s refined a groove that always feels just out of reach, full of friction and forward motion. With his imprint BAMBE (launched in 2021), he dives even deeper: stripped-back, percussive, tactile club music that probes the edges of rhythm. Collaborations with Bruce and Priori, plus remixes for artists like Moby and Sampha, reveal his instinct for twisting tracks into unexpected shapes. As a DJ, he brings that same sensitivity to surprise, balancing organic house, experimental electronics, and percussive ruptures into sets that invite both deep listening and physical surrender. Don’t miss Bambounou alongside @_james_bangura @niks_bad and @1morning_ Ticket link in bio

Very excited to announce that B.A.D has been nominated for DJ Mag’s Best of British “Best Compilation” of 2025 🥹❤️‍🔥 When Niks and Tanya first came up with the Synergy compilation idea in 2021, it was born from a desire to showcase the musical talent on a global level and enable tasteful music to be reached far and wide. Fast forward 4 years later, and this compilation is a true depiction of all the different sounds and genres, by some of our most loved producers and artists. Hearing music from this compilation get played across festivals, radio shows and club gigs since the summer has been a real reward. The labour of love put into curating and bringing the 3rd Synergy compilation to life has been real, and we’d be so appreciative and honoured if you found the time to vote for us in this years award. To all of the artists across this compilation - thank you for the trust with your artistry. A special thanks to Niks for A&R’ing each compilation, to Tanya for getting the label off the ground back during the pandemic and to Rihana, Maggie & Russell E. L. Butler for their work across this compilation. Thank you all ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
