That’s a wrap! To the Berkshires - with your gorgeous Gilded Age mansions, adorable towns and fickle weather - what a gorgeous place to shoot. And despite finishing filming, my deep love affair with the period hats on this film (an adaptation of Ibsen’s #AnEnemyOfThePeople and Dashiell Hammett’s #RedHarvest but set in 1959) continues. Although we had to try about a dozen different angles until we found the right one (swipe to last pic to see what we went with. We had to contend with shadows from the brim but luckily nobody wanted to completely sacrifice the hat). Brava to our wardrobe designer Karen Boyer for being able to source so many incredible old pieces, many of which were gossamer-thin and falling apart. Her terrific team rescued and tailored so many gorgeous old dresses, slips, gloves and hats and made it so easy for me to exist in 1959. Wishing the rest of the cast, crew and production team much luck in your final days of filming.

A moment of appreciation for the incredible period wardrobe, hair & makeup, locations (yesterday we shot at Edith Wharton’s famous home “The Mount” in Lenox, MA). Had the best time last night celebrating my brilliant friend @sashaplavsic ’s new @iliabeauty skin-blurring concealer. And bringing one of my besties @bexmader was a blast - as was wearing my dear friend @schwartzapproved ’s sister Nancie’s gorgeous dress (@natanyafriedka ). Thank you @nursejamiela for the skin prep. Amazing women all around 🥹💪 And of course @thealist.us threw an amazing #iliabeauty launch party per usual ✨✨✨
