Just looking back - I've been facilitating with this bunch since Jan 2024 throughout holidays and Saturdays.
So many thanks to the team including amazing volunteers who've made these kinds of experiences so sound and safe !

Music for workshops!
@ricnicuk have a storytelling workshop for children, and I got to stitch some loop pedal improvisations together for a 20 minute segment of backing music!
Featured trumpet, ukulele, baking paper and percussion madness, recorded over a day back in I. May in the living room. It's been tidied quite soon after don't worry.
Was really nice to get to see it in action with @algregoryyarts an. @muktireshmarana facilitating a sweet experience - including these very fun Story Tents and a little pre show boogie.
Anyway has been lovely to muck around more with loop pedals this year, and get into the nitty gritty of soundtracking and participant's experience!

Come to @bloodproducts before 5pm, and see blood being (safely) transformed into prints, a bathroom fountain with a mushroom man (LOOK AT HIM), and some loop pedal demos I made on Friday. And thanks to @bloodproducts you can even miss the exhibition and order prints online to support local trans healthcare fundraisers. Come down and check it out.

Thinking fondly of Bloom with @spiltmilkdance , back from Feb to July this year from devising, research to touring with an AMAZING team of Adele & Sarah, Jen, @sko_ella@chloetgsenior and @immyscwimmy .
It was across 4 months - covering rehearsing, residencies, arranging, a PHOTO SHOOT(??), so many plaits on trains and 4 different shades of orange nails varnish - in which time I basically finished learning the ukulele so that's pretty neat xx
Then we bloody only went on tour and saw some chicks hatch so was amazing in my book. Also love public transport as always, in and sometimes out of show makeup; we also had a quick paddle after a particularly sweaty show.
Finally and incredibly @peanutbutterandpaint drew a doodle of me being the colour orange which is just stunning frankly.
A kind and playful group of people for a lovely process xx

As some of us ask ourselves 'What did I do in 2024?' I've been wondering about 2022. This is meant to be my professional insta and I never bloody posted anything from when I was mostly a producer!
Anyway here's some ok photos from two projects (out of many) I got to assist in 2022!
Whitmore Reans Remapped - Exhibition at @newhamptonarts , this exhibit by @gatiscommunityspace alongside work from @geotone_cic
Cultures in Common - a sensory and artistic walk/tour/workshop by the amazing @katy__hawkins , as a part of Cultures in Common.
Both projects tried bringing together local communities and organisations, for celebrating and remapping what was and is there, in Whitmore Reans and by the Reservoir.
I kind of miss being that highly organised person who was seeing all these disparate pieces of projects, and trying to help it all come together. Although these days work with @curiosityproductions puts that help into different places - and I'm organised and present in a maybe a different way these days.
❄️Wonderland 2024 is all wrapped up 🎁🥲
Thank you thank you to the gorgeous gorgeous team of @spiltmilkdance 's two touring casts, visiting care homes, community centres and hospitals through December. Lots of changing room toilets, navigating trolleys, and trying to make little moments of Christmas for older audiences wherever they are.
Big first tour and was a mega rehearsal process, (tap dancing??? clowning and creative writing??? a costume!!!) and we were even gifted with live drawings from an audience member. So lucky to be a tree this year, growing, reaching, inching and expanding 🎄🎺 xx
