Our latest single, "The Black Sun", is out now on all major streaming platforms.
"The Black Sun" is what happens when a death metal inspired grindcore band ventures into doom metal territory.
It`s a bleak and gloomy song about the moments before eternal sleep sets in.
On this song we wanted to do something different from the fast paced and in-your-face stuff we usually do and it is also the first song we have done where we incorporated electronics. The additional hell drones and drips of electronic soundscapes were made by our good friend @saint_m_666 from Serenity Trace.
The album was recorded in full during the pandemic at Vakuum Studio in Oslo, Norway, with Pål Gauslaa Sivertzen behind the levers as well as mixing and mastering.
"Monoceros" is a melting pot of aggression, frustration, hard work and a healthy dose of good old fun.

Hello friends! Finally some exciting news from the Claimstaker camp.
Our debut album, "Bury Us in Shadows", will be released on the 1st of April through Binary Sounds Production Records.
“Bury Us in Shadows” was recorded in full at Caliban Studio in Oslo, together with the very talented producer and all around good guy Ruben Willem behind the levers, over a course of only four days. This has brought a level of high focus with ever present and hard-hitting energy that pummels all the sonic senses.
The album was mixed by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Studios (Harms Way, Weekend Nachos, Lurk etc.) and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (From Ashes Rise, Sleep, All Pigs Must Die, The Armed etc.).
