Hey I did a thing with @chikai.art ! Together we’ve created the Napa Cinematic AI Symposium (NCAIS), a new track of programming as a part of the fast-growing @nvaafilmfest .
We featured select works from artist/AI filmmakers @june_redthread and @niceaunties and had wide ranging discussions around the current state of every major LLM, video-first GenAI models, emerging tools and players and most importantly how these artists’ creative process works and leverages these tools to map their imaginations.
I was also honored for @mrgnlmedia to help curate the festival’s opening night films: @rentalfamilyfilm by @thehikarism and @fucktoysthemovie by @missannapurna . Special thanks to @searchlightpics and @timothypetryni for securing the films for us. A killer opening night lineup!
