It’s 3:31am and I have been working on this all day. You know I had to do something. Took so long because I kept starting over. I shed tears at least 3X making this. If you truly knew what this young man had to go through, what obstacles he had to figure out how to get over and still is fighting for his dreams, then you might have shed a few too. It’s an understatement how proud of him I am. We truly thankful for all the support some of have given him over the years and I know he is too. Continue to keep him in your prayers as we continue to climb this ladder of life with him.

Nah but on some real shit… this kid taught me love without boundaries, affection and patience. He came at a time I had lost everything and wasn’t worth a food stamp at a casino but he didn’t care. He would grab my face and force me to smile. He wouldn’t let up. He is still the kid that will find the other kids who people disregard and make those same kids accept them.

This moving shit kickin’ my ass but I wanted to take a minute and let me bother know how super proud of him I am! He always been samurai with the clippers. I always hated he never took it serious. I always believed he would have his own shop for me to pull up and kick it in but one step at a time!
He gave me a business card one day and I was hype even had one but then I sat and was nah… we gotta get lil bro lit!
Not only did I make the cards for him without him knowing, also made him his own logo (shout out TCMG up next) if he ever wants to use it or expand.

Finally stopped bullshittin and putting off the move but here we are! Moving back into my office/creative space after damn near 2 years! That flood still got my anxiety through the roof!

I originally started by wanting to do the #WafflebackChallenge that @pilotandco.catalog x @lvmny._ posted. The good brother has a very motivating and inspiring. Of course when I went to the store there were no black hoodies, fail 1. So I went with grey.
Then for some reason the @lysol wasn’t staining the grey like I envisioned, probably due to lack of patience, fail 2.
Then went I went to find a crate… man… I don’t know what year my grandfather got these in but NONE of them had a familiar pattern so I went with what I had, fail 3.
I was about to say “man fuck this!” But something happened. I started not to care about having “All the right stuff” I told myself I was not going to sleep until I finished and whatever came of it I was going to post it and wear it!
7 hours later… this is what I came up with. This could have happened in maybe 2/3 hours but there were things I had never done before so I had to learn and fail on the fly.
-first time intentionally bleaching clothes
-first time painting clothes
-first time making stencils
-first time using a phone and iPad to cut and weed vinyl
-first and probably only time using a power tool to make clothes 😭
Either way… I’m super proud of me! I normally would have just quit, got up and went to cop me a fit for today but NOPE!
I’ll be at the casino reppin for THE TOWN in my 1 of 1 that almost wasn’t!
