About the work:
Gareth McConnellâs psychedelic photographs of Icelandic horses reimagine these animals not as symbols of control or nobility, but as electric, cosmic beings flickering between dream and hyperreality. Bathed in neon hues, they pulse with strange sentience, echoing art historical and literary references. Set against Icelandâs mystical, volcanic landscape and resonating with the energy of interstellar ley lines, McConnellâs horses become more than animals; they are surreal messengers, blurring the boundaries between nature, myth, and the digital sublime.

Numbers Wine:
Numbers wine is celebrated as one of the UKâs pioneering urban wineries, situated in a former umbrella factory in the heart of east London. Founded by Hugh Thorn and Caroline Price, the winery focuses on producing small-batch, natural, and low-intervention wines using english-grown grapes such as bacchus, rondo, and pinot noir.
Â
Their approach emphasises working with responsible growers, minimal if any sulphur use, and bottling or canning the wines only when they are ready, ensuring quality and authenticity in every bottle.
