Fancy a glass of English wine in an old umbrella factory? We’ve got your number.
@numberswine is an urban winery in Bethnal Green, very appropriately on Vyner Street, making small-batch, low-intervention English wines. It opens as a bar on weekends, so you can work through the Numbers range alongside other local drinks and nibbles, and it also doubles as an events space with everything from film nights to winemaking workshops.
You can even throw your birthday in amongst the barrels of ageing grapes, and for the non-drinkers, there’s a Pet Non made from kefir water.
A few weeks back now we dropped in to see Hugh and Caroline of @numberswine at their winery & event space on Vyner Street in East London.
