Talking a little about grief, nature connection and everything we’ve been up to this week on my blog.
A lot of heart in this one. Some old pictures too.
Reviving the blog to get honest, leaning into vulnerability now and forever.
Working toward actualising long held goals is a wonderful type of affirmation, but using all your days off to side project hard is not without its challenges.
Early days yet, more to come. Both very quietly and out loud.
Cold and for making things, winter shaped up to be many different entities at once. Two poems for the price of one. You don’t have to say anything.
The first poem is for Imbolc (the practice of writing on days like these is strong), and the other came to after yin class the other day after what felt like a thousand days of rain.
Half-winter full of wool, warmth, and finding peace with the dark.
Yesterday a table full of friends reminded me of how quickly we have danced through this year, and just how many things we have seen. Shaking with the force of it!
From the loss, the light through the leaves, to the bend in your knees — endless thanks, and glasses raised! Oh joy!
Last night we took @winewithfriendsstlens to @bistro_albo for the second time and oh boy was it a blast.
A night of smoke and mirrors…
Incredible food, mysterious wines and new friends…
Thank you Misha & Kacper for sharing your hospitality with us ❤️ And thank you to everyone who came and made last night super special.
We have so many pictures to share from our event on Monday, but for now, we think this one is our favourite.

About last night, at @bistro_albo ❤️
An evening of the most delicious food, some absolutely stellar wines, and most importantly, friends!
Thank you so much, it was a dream come true!
It is nearly (but not quite) the end of another year and I wrote these words the year before this one, if I’m honest if I have things to say now they often don’t sound so lovely.
These rattle around my head though and I never shared them, so happy Sunday lovers.
Autumn makes me think of the Spring when I wrote these. Feeling like tulips, brave and unfurled!
Words from my brain to yours up on my Substack now. Let’s chat! đź§
Featuring a recount of my experiences this Summer, some big feelings about the world, writing and wine, and a big big appreciation moment for @pourchoiceswinefair đź‘€
Plus a little teaser for my upcoming Harvest Diaries from the last two weeks spent with @terroirmerroir 🍇
