The Official Trailer to our short, “WHAT’S GRIEF?” 🎬 @whats_grief , produced/owned by @betweenlaslineas 📺 We will be keeping you all in the loop on our upcoming Film Festival selection(s), including screening dates & locations when ready. There’s one selection as of today, but we’ll hold off on the news for now 🤫 We can’t wait for every one of you to experience what we, as a collective unit, purely manifested for the screen. It’s been a roller-coaster-like process from pre-production to post, but I wouldn’t have it any other way; peace of mind is priceless. This story is about the cyclical storm of Grief … which includes the nature of lows being low and the middle ground being the main character’s plateau; all while trying to find silver linings through vulnerability, truth, & acceptance. Day 2 ✌️ of our Cinematic Experience started out with a 1960’s Olympia Typewriter and transcended into @filmpro_ai ’s software demonstrated by co-owner @alexdlugo . Overall, it was a literal brainstorm; so much so that someone walking down the street saw the poster outside of @afhbronx and decided to join us; that’s a gravitational pull we couldn’t ignore. So the moment paced into action, it gained traction, conversations and ideas were erupting from the entire group; it was a hodgepodge of projection unto a raw story, an amalgamation of the most powerful entity we as a species can offer to ourselves and community: an idea. This idea spawned into its own universe, then boom, a climax chart: Exposition Rising Actions Climax Falling Action Resolution (if there is one) Due to time constraints, we were unable to finish the entirety on the typewriter, so we uploaded what we could, which allowed Alex to demonstrate his product: @filmpro_ai It is a wonderful tool! It eases the headache with preproduction. Proper filmmaking is putting your best foot forward to the craft, and in order to put our best foot forward, organization is key! At Between Las Líneas, we have used it for our upcoming project: LIGHT MINUTES, and the cast loves how organized everything is, and so do we. Just like many other local, national, and international filmmakers, we are run independently. Having this tool equipped only makes your Swiss Army knife even sharper and more sleek. We deeply appreciate @alexdlugo for returning to NYC from Atlanta, and introducing not only his cutting-edge product, FilmPro.ai, but his work as a filmmaker, having co-directed & starred in Project Penelope. It was a true delight to screen the debut of “Wake Up To Me” Written, Directed by @_.brayka._ and Produced by @braykastudios & @low.budget.cinema @_.brayka._ , an emerging Dominican-born ARTISTA, had her Directorial debut at the @bronxframe and Between Las Líneas Film Showcase; it was a hit!! The film closed out the first half, and it received much praise. We’re looking forward to seeing the continued success of Wake Up To Me and everyone involved in making it come to life. Cast: @_.brayka._ , @thebrooklynjoker , rhymeswithsoap99 , & @boricuablanco Synopsis by Director: After a devastating breakup, a young woman struggles to cope with the sudden end of a 10 year relationship. Her mind traps her inside a recurring nightmare loop where a sinister clown kills her in increasingly disturbing ways. The dreams forces her to confront the boundary between grief, dreams, and choosing herself. The story blurs the line between reality and imagination, placing the audience inside the character’s mental and emotional landscape.

Despite dark clouds & rainfall on 4/25, the COMMUNITY showed up for each other, ultimately representing a robust silver lining. 🛸 Our presence was felt, and we could not be more thankful for the gracious turnout! On 4/25 🚀 Within our upcoming Film & Art Showcase, we will be re-releasing LIGHT MINUTES, a cerebral Sci-Fi novel, written & @createdby_angel .
