First setup in had to be @benrushy22 with @ryansdc2 ‘s DC2 ITR. Ryan’s handling package has definitely gone up a few notches since last time!

Silly little issues we find along builds, and because I'm not encyclopedic in my bmw knowledge, we found that the csl bilstein inserts were too short for the bodies of @bmw530mle , despite being recommended them.
No problem, a bit of time on the lathe and some properly centred and load spreading shims sort the additional length issue and will do the best job of not punching out the bottom of the strut casing which is only a thin wall section of stamped steel.

This was the issue on the box.
Detent strut, blocker detent, whatever you want to call it, broke so it tipped over and hit the blocker/baulk on the synchro preventing the selector ring from travelling far enough to engage the dogs on the gear.

I know I don't update the posts here that often at the moment, but things are just way beyond busy.... Which is a great thing!
As I struggle to fulfill multiple roles at work, some awesome progression (for me at least 🤭) with @quantumsuspension , has me spurred on and working late to finalise some spec evolutions on what I consider the absolute best dampers available for a Honda out there.
A few small changes will improve fit across a wider range of car setups and simplify the product range.
On the cards are trials of an even more focused and hyper lightweight pure motorsport setup that will be tailored to individual customers even more so than the current range.
I do love boingy bits.

Having not don't much Honda wise this yea, barely even touching the teg, I figured I needed some motivation and to visualise what I'm aiming for.
Enter @akkans_edition . We've known each other for a while and we spit ball a lot on fun concepts and how we love the 90's racing scene.
Long story short, I communicated my thoughts to akkan and my desire to build what would of been a late era Group A touring car out of the teg. Yes... Its 2 door...... But hey, its my car and my brain.
And what's more 90's than tamiya models! I made hundreds as a kid in Hong Kong, and the box artwork was always something so iconic.

With quality trailing arms becoming super scarce in the UK, I'm really thinking about putting work into sourcing decent ones and offering them on an exchange basis (so long as yours aren't fubar'd) with the full works. Extensive gusseting, roll centre correction, blasting and powder coating.
It won't fit everyone's budgets, much like most what I do, but I really just love making top level components easily available to those who need or want them.

Sponsors.....unless you're loaded, are a necessity. They come and go, but once in a while you'll find one that goes beyond what is really needed and you just end up being friends. I'm lucky that I can say that about a few of my sponsors, and most of the time that's because I believe in their products above all other options.

It sounds stupid, but when I started racing, if you'd say that I had a pin made of my car that I could give to my kid when he's older, as corny as it sounds, it's one of the coolest bits of memorabilia I could ask for.
