Rob aka Smiler - @path_to_poseidon
We met smiler in a field at SGP and adopted him for the weekend but then basically never let him go. True to his name is basically never without a beaming smile and joyous manner to go with it. You should check out the beautiful jewelry that he makes from super detailed sheet metal that he turns into stunning 3D designs with precious stones, seriously impressive.
Jess - @ickaprint
I was doubly lucky when I met Milly that I also got to meet all her amazing friends too, Jess is an incredible illustrator, textile designer, and as northern as they come. A totally hilarious lass and joy to meet up for a pint!

As some people out there know, before Milly and I left and moved to Canada a whole year ago today! I had a photography project I had been working on, to attempt to take a portrait of all our nearest and dearest friends and family before we left.
Considering how scattered everyone is around the UK and beyond this was going to be a difficult and time-consuming task as it was. What with finishing building the boat we lived on, selling and packing belongings and finding new places to live and work. And then came the pandemic…
Somehow amongst all the chaos that threw in the mix, between lockdowns and social distancing, trying to take portraits in forests and open garages so we were outside I managed to collect a few. Unfortunately, there were still several important people in our lives that we didn’t get a chance to see before we left so I planned to shelf this project until we returned.
However having been here a year and made new and friends and memories I realised that this is going to be a more ongoing project than planned so decided that instead I will begin sharing these bit by bit as I capture more on this side of the pond and hopefully get back soon to see those we missed!
Tim- @timmytools66
I was fortunate enough to have Tim as not only a close friend but also my business partner. Together we ran our company Haze Lighting for many years, from a rented garage next to a brothel to our warehouse in Walthamstow. A fantastic Gaffer in the film industry still, you have probably already seen and will again see his name on the big screen.
Alex- @krafty_bacon
A renowned festival unicorn! I met Alex in a field during an SGP build and have stayed friends since. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him in a bad mood but he can definitely pull you out of one.
It’s a great time of year when you can go skiing one day and climbing the next.
Took @millfred_ up her first aid climb on the chief with @keenannowak , fun day out even if the rock was still a little wet!
Beautiful views from Whistler, you can see Black Tusk pretty clearly here.
A surprise sunny January day and a strong crew in Squamish made for perfect conditions for @keenannowak and this fingery corner! Looking forward to more days like this.

Mooey the Aussie crusher making moves up the Underfling pitch variation of the Grand Wall. The last time I managed to get up here before the big rockfall closed the area!

My sister rapping of the spectacular last abseil on The Old Man of Hoy.
We managed to catch a blazer of a day bookmarked by one of the wettest weeks I’ve ever had in Scottland, fortunately it’s easy climbing as the rock wasn’t exactly dry!
