The moth has been a design I've wanted to make since watching a Sphinx Moth pollinate a dragonfruit flower whilst travelling in Todos Santos, Mexico. One of the unsung hero's of the pollinating world which is why he seems fitting to join the 'Let the Lawn Grow' collection.

Three whole weeks this beauty took me after a dragonfly danced in my face. I'd been putting it off for months because I knew the challenge was going to be hard, especially because I didn't own a drill and was in a small town in a desert in Mexico.
I made a drill from a screwdriver, it snapped multiple times, I put charcoal around it to try and increase the carbon content, got it glowing to white hot and then quenched the old screw driver.
This is why it's so expensive, but I'm not displeased with that, being my masterpiece to date.
This one I made a couple of years ago now, it's a toad pendant that ended up being brought by a very good friend of mine! The metal is brass and the chain also brass.

This pendant is made from reclaimed brass and the stone is red quartz.
Red quartz is considered a stone of vitality, creativity, grounding, and motivation, often stimulating the root chakra.
The latest piece, the largest semi precious labradorite I own, it's 5cm tall by 2.5 cm wide, inspired by a beautiful beech tree in magical Machynlleth, with its large lowest limb missing! This pendant can be worn either way round, a pure uninterrupted stone on the back side. Made with my trusty green lion saw!
Currently on making another one of bees! Just starting up again, it's been a long time but feeling inspired to get ready for some local Christmas fairs the we've booked into. The first pendant on the list is a brass bee.

Here are two bespoke handmade commissions that I made just before Christmas. The kingfisher is made with fine silver and a blue labradorite, the Octopus is made from reclaimed brass and tigers eye stone.
