We are closing an incredible year for our film Ā«Ā @a_quiet_storm_film Ā». I had the opportunity to travel the world to a lot of major festivals and met some incredible talents, some of whom became close friends. The experience of watching films in theatres and sharing it with fellow directors, cinematographers, producers, composers, actors... is a rare privilege, and we should cherish and protect it. Some films I saw there changed my way of sensing the world around me, Iām thinking about Ā«Ā @cuttingthroughrocks_film Ā» in @sffilm or recently Ā«Ā fatherĀ» at @camerimage.festival . I want to thank the festival teams, organizers, programmers, and volunteers who put those precious events together. I think itās important, really important that those events exist. Not just to inspire our little bubble of filmmakers or feed our egos, but to promote a major Art form that can change lives, and open eyes on some forgotten part of the world.
