Wow. What an amazing time we had last Friday. An incredibly sincere thank you to all who came out. I get really nervous with improvised performances but having such a warm venue and audience (literally and figuratively) made it easy. Here's a few photos we've received from friends. I play drums and percussion along with @dstrig@_jeffmitchell & @lakeicychill playing all sorts of guitars. In one day, it was recorded, engineered and mixed by our friend @beaunoise , who I believe did an incredible job. Beau's music, process and art are very inspiring to me so it was a real honor to have him work on this. Mastering by @mystery_room_mastering who did exceptional work (as usual). It's a real pleasure to know and to play with these gentlemen and I'm grateful they've asked me to be a part of it.

OK! Another person I've gotta shout out is Justin @mystery_room_mastering . We were so happy with the mixes on this record that we were not sure what route to take with mastering. Subtle and clean or run it a bit hotter?? We did a couple of passes with Justin and in just a week or so (maybe less actually?)had that "holy shit that's DONE" kind of moment. I cannot recommend Justin enough. Pretty cool to have such top tier audio mastering right here in Wisconsin. Thank you Justin.

Hey so the @collectionsbees record has been out for a few months now. I wanted to take a minute to thank and acknowledge a few people. Also shout out about our last show of the year happening this week, Saturday Oct 4th at @vivariummke . It's going to be a special one.
OK so this is the 1st record that we've had someone outside of the band mix. And that goes way back to the beginning. People keep telling me they love how this record sounds and that the mix is VERY good. I 100% agree and credit due Todd Ritman at Shy Diamond studio in Chicago. Todd is our friend and also leads a band we love and admire @deadriderband (please please check this stuff out if you've not heard). We handed him a thousand tracks across these songs and just said, please? Anyway thankfully he did not throw the 145 zip discs back in my face. What he came back with is nuts. It's everything we wanted to hear and somehow way more. Thank you again Todd. This rules so much.
