Kenneth’s new bikepacking steel frame - Ari on the welds, Ben on the build.

Built with purpose.
This was a first for us - fully integrated cable routing, with a clean, seamless design utilizing the IS52 standard and ENVE In-Route system.
3D-printed lugs and yoke to accommodate a large chainring (up to 48T) and wide tires (up to 2.2”).
Anodized logos (while there’s a certain beauty to the simplicity and raw look of titanium, with anodizing we can add a small personal touch to the frame).
Now let’s talk about the geometry. It was designed with speed and aero in mind. However, as firm believers that “comfort is speed,” we opted for a more progressive geometry - emphasizing a longer reach (for a more aero position and improved handling) and a slightly slacker head tube angle (69°) for added stability at high speeds.

Some Chefs are cyclists.
Most of our customers upgrading to titanium choose to build an entirely new bike from the ground up, but that’s not always the case. Our friend (we call him “the chef”) came to us looking to replace his trusty BenBen steel frame, while keeping things within a budget.
After a bit of back-and-forth, we agreed on a plan: invest in a new frame and a new wheelset, arguably two of the most major upgrades you can make, while carrying over a number of parts from his old build; pieces like the timeless Dura-Ace silver polished crank that still had plenty of life (and style) left in them.
For the wheels, we went with @erasecomponents - a local EU brand we’ve recently come to really love. Our own Ari has been riding and testing a set through the harsh Danish winter, and they’re still running smooth as butter.
We’ve already been using their hubs in custom builds for several months now, and recently started offering their complete wheelsets as well. They’re lightweight, easy to service, precision-machined in the EU, and come in at a price point that’s more accessible compared to some of the more boutique brands we stock.
A smart upgrade, built with intention.

Like a fine Swiss clock, the sun came out right as we hit the first day of spring, and traffic at the BenBen workshop has already been steadily growing, with Ben and Ronen working around the clock - wrenching and prepping bikes that have just awoken from a long winter hibernation.
So before spring goes into full swing, make sure to bring your bike in for any required tune-up or fix, so you don’t miss the first perfect rides of the season.
