it’s always a pleasure to collaborate with people who understand my vision - im so excited to share these collages i created for @backfromtheborderline album artwork as well as a new addition - back from the borderline baby.
ive been a listener of the podcast for a while and this was a truly special undertaking, thank you mollie for trusting me to take part in this rebranding 🙏🏽🕊️
as said in mollie’s own words:
“… bella worked by hand, weaving together collage elements that reflect the core themes of emotional alchemy and transformation we explore here on the podcast.
… this re-branding feels deeply personal for me. it’s a big step.
as many of you know, up until now, i’ve kept my face largely behind the scenes. it’s been a journey to reach a place where i feel comfortable stepping forward and “being perceived.”
the new artwork features photos of me, but in a way that feels symbolic, textured, and true to the unique spirit of BFTB. they’re not your typical podcast covers—and that was intentional.”
scroll through to take a closer look at the collages - exploring the theme of the alchemist and the primordial mother as archetypes. and make sure to give back from borderline a listen, you’ll thank yourself. 🤍
new work for “beyond the hero’s journey: joseph campbell’s creative mythology and the alchemical artist” a class soon to be taught by @teddyhamstragram at @morbidanatomy ⚗️🌀🐦🔥
a closer look at the piece i created for @backfromtheborderline - with this piece i wanted to focus on the archetypal image of the mother - and the innocence of new life, the lamb + the darkness of the womb, our first home - life as a glimmer of light out of darkness both literally and figuratively
