[SOUND ON] Since 2021, Back from the Borderline has been a journey of uncovering the roots of our suffering and reconnecting with the parts of ourselves we thought were lost forever.
With listeners in over 130 countries and consistently ranking in the top 5-10% of podcasts worldwide, this community has grown into something extraordinaryâand itâs just the beginning.
Â
Imagine if your most painful and debilitating mental health symptoms and self-sabotaging behaviors arenât evidence of âdisorderâ or âdysfunctionâ, but adaptive strategies that once kept you safe.
My goal is to help you shift from asking âWhatâs wrong with me?â to âWhat happened to me?â
Â
The word âborderlineâ in this podcast has nothing to do with psychiatric labels. Everyone has found themselves on the edge, in that liminal space where the old self falls apart and the new Self emerges.
Â
In an era where mental health and spirituality are too often commercialized, Iâm not here as a guru with a quick fix to sell you.
I donât believe anyone is ever truly âhealedâ or âcured.â
There is no return to some mythical state of pre-trauma purity, but rather a continuous spiral of unbecoming, unlearning, and transformation.
As a fellow seeker, I will be there in your ear, walking alongside you on your path toward wholeness as a sort of parasocial big sister.
That, I *can* promise.Â
Â
By integrating the concepts we explore together, youâll begin to see that anyoneâeven youâcan come back from the borderline.

For I am I: ergo, the truth of myself; my own sphinx, conflict, chaos, vortexâasymmetric to all rhythms, oblique to all paths. I am the prism between black and white: mine own unison in duality. â Austin Osman Spare

throwing this into the void of instagram because todayâs big disclosure dump had me feeling some type of WAY. posting and writing this with one eye squinted into the dark while sleeping in bed with my toddler. itâs imperfect, but itâs human. and itâs my honest attempt to make sense of the most profoundly life altering experience I had with @christopherlentzbledsoe and @rybledsoe .
âThere must be some kind of way out of hereâ
Said the joker to the thief
âThereâs too much confusion
I canât get no reliefâ
Businessmen, they drink my wine
Plowmen dig my earth
None will level on the line
Nobody offered his word, â hey, hey
âNo reason to get excitedâ
The thief, he kindly spoke
âThere are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke, but, uh
But you and I, weâve been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us stop talking falsely now
The hourâs getting late,
Hey, Hey
All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went
Barefoot servants too, well, uh
Outside in the cold distance
A wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching
And the wind began to howl, hey
All along the watchtower
Got to be a way, got to be a way out here, hey
All along the watchtower
