I have been deeply humbled by the vulnerability and power of birthing an offering that externalises my heart so truly. It has been such an initiation into deep surrender, deep trust, and moving from the heart first and allowing the mind to follow. Which is obviously so much easier said than done .. but I’m so proud to have been able to befriend fear & doubt throughout this journey and push through!!!!!
The second Soulrise was so magical!!!!! 🥹
Together, we laughed. We cried. We danced. We celebrated each other. We swapped art. We softened into each other. And whilst doing that, we raised $1440 for EMBER:: money that will go straight towards supporting Women & Children affected by domestic violence. Offering them a new wardrobe, food for the week & money to afford therapy.
Attempting to articulate and communicate what both this day and this project means to me is proving incredibly difficult. I am so deeply grateful for everyone that attended, everyone that offered their support, all of the people who shared their art on the day & everyone that believes in this vision as much as I do. I love this chapter and it has been such a true highlight of my LIFE co creating with my loved ones. It’s so FUN!!!!!

This month, we are raising funds or EMERGE.
In Australia, one woman is killed every 9 days by their partner. It’s a horrific statistic that I incredibly hard to digest. But a reality.
Over the last 40 years, Emerge has empowered thousands of women to rebuild their lives after experiencing domestic violence. Providing them both short & long term accomodation, supplies to keep the kids in schools, and running a range of therapy programs.
On Sunday, we intend to gather in community, listen to beautiful poetry, and dance our asses off to support this organisation.
All profits from the day will go to Emerge 🍁🍁

Throughout the darkest times in history, people have been using dance spaces to not only alchemise their emotions, but to form community in times of true uncertainty. To be able to look around at a room full of people and know that they are not alone.
There is no turning away from all of the darkness in the world, the terror, the injustice, the devastation. It’s easy to feel paralysed, helpless and hopeless. But we are not any of those things!!!! our joy is our resistance, our togetherness I the antidote 🤍
On the 26th April, we are hosting the second Soulrise :: a reminder of the power of community, connection, and movement. A chance to dance away the grief, confusion, and anger your body may be storing. A chance to meet like minded people, a chance to just receive beautiful poetry and also maybe win something really cool in a raffle.
Honestly I have just created exactly what I personally need to get me through these dark times, and if it’s what you need too - I’d love to see you there ❤️🔥

when @themysticmu first contacted me, she shared with me that she had gone through deep internal shifts and wanted to capture and honour the woman that she has become. she wanted imagery for her brand / her business/ her SELF that felt true to her.
we spent the day frolicking, playing dress ups & celebrating LIFE.
and I think we nailed the imagery side of things too ..
I love this work so much & I love that my art gets to support other bad ass women who are creating and living from their hearts.

Maybe this video is too long for instagram maybe I dont care HAHAHHA because something that im realising again&again is the more you speak from your heart & share yourself the more you attract the people that resonate.
This weekend showed me as exactly that.
What started as an idea, a possibility, a curiosity: what if I hosted fundraisers in my backyard? Gathered people for music, movement & meaning. What if we could raise money for charity by doing what I know we love most?
I had to do so much more than pinch myself to really believe it came to life. Caught myself in so many moments of pure witness and pure awe.
This is the power of community.
This is the power of collective intention.
This is the power of dance.
This is the power of JOY.
Together, we raised $1604.66 for @doctorswithoutborders
That money directly supports frontline medical practitioners who are on the ground all around the world providing urgent medical care and nursing both the physical & mental health of communities affected by crisis. ☀︎ ✧
We were dropped into the land and our bodies by the incredible @cadiabelante
We heard incredible poetry from @wordcraft.writers , @jabba.art & @_carmenthea_ spontaneously shared her FIRST SONG with the crowd. How incredible to receive your art.
We had a wicked ecstatic dance set from the wizard himself @ryanswizardry 🧙♂️
And then we celebrated with a RAFFLE! Where people won art, quilts, books, wine, even tomatoes …
I’m so so so grateful. To my village that helped me put this together, that supported me emotionally & physically, that backed my vision and helped me make it HAPPEN. thank you. from the bottom of my heart. I couldn’t and definitely didn’t do this alone. 🤍
We are so powerful when we are united.
This is how we create change.
Let this inspire you to create whatever the fuck you want. Everything is possible. The mountain is you.

We are just getting started
I’m hosting humans in my lush backyard on the 8th of March to gather, be in connection, dance through our emotions, and raise money for charity.
This months charity is Médecins Sans Frontières ( Doctors Without Borders ) - an incredible organisation that is stationed in over 70 countries providing much needed mental and physical health support.
It will be a beautiful day. Come and receive.

My heart bleeds for the world around me.

For all Indigenous Mob worldwide that are fighting for their lives.
The list goes on ..
We have likely grown numb to it all. It is our responsibility to FEEL. To employ our anger. To utilise it.
For the last few years, I have been paralysed in grief. Unsure how to help and what to do with all of this emotion. But it is time to use that anger and devastation to create something beautiful. To rise together as a community. We are so powerful when we come together!!!
I never thought I would be someone to host events.
But eventually, you have to ask yourself - what do I truly want to OFFER to the world?
How do we hold our anger, our sadness, our care — and let it move us toward something constructive rather than shutting us down?
And when I did,
This is what came through.

SOLRISE SUNDAYS
A community fundraiser rooted in something I know we love: dance, connection, creativity, and being together. Moving not just for release, but for meaning. Dancing for not just pleasure, but for difference.
The intention is to host monthly fundraisers, raising funds for different charities and organisations around the world.
Community will forever be the antidote; and I truly so deeply believe in the power of the Village. It is the driving force of my life. And I am so beyond grateful to be surrounded by humans that share that belief.
I know we can have an impact.
I know that passion and purpose can coexist.
The first edition of SOULRISE will be on the 8th March.

Realised that I haven’t actually posted on instagram for over a year which is so random so here’s my attempt at catching insta up on what the helly ive been doing hehehe. Life in the trees life in community. Yes im wearing the same top in most of these photos. I like it!!!
Been a wild past 12 months. Definitely lost my love for life at some points last year - feel we all went through such deep internal shifts. But my goal was to stay in one location - and although that had its own set of challenges, I did it!!! And wow what a different kind of medicine it was. Underrated.
Now we exhale. Have taken the last month off working to focus on my spirit. To fall back in love with life. To spend time with loved ones. And with the self. Highly recommend!!! It’s been wildly successful 🤍🤍🤍

OUR FIRST FESTIVALS OF THE SEASON!!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
The team have spent the last 2 weeks on the road, tripping up to New Castle for @subsonicmusic and then back down the coast for @wildhorsesfestival !!!! What a way to bring in the season.
This journey was most definitely not without challenge; facing thunderstorms, blazing heat, fridge trucks that didn’t work, cars breaking down, a 2 am bogging in rural Victoria. But through it all, we managed to arrive at both festivals ready to PLAY and with so much EXCITEMENT to be back doing what we LOVE the most.
At every step, at every challenge, at every set back, at every festival, we dance through it.
We have missed the festival community, and it was so good to be home 💛💛💛
