THIS SATURDAY // MAY 16TH // 5-9PM // MUSE GALLERY So excited to announce the opening of BETWEEN THE ECHO, a group exhibition I curated at @beingthemuse . I am deeply honored to work with so many incredible artists and friends who have helped make this all come to life. We can’t wait to see you. It inhabits the space where memory distorts into atmosphere — suspended between past and future, presence and dissolution. Movement unfolds between intimacy and erosion, softness and industrial weight. Objects remain caught in transformation, emerging from ruin, dream, and subconscious residue. The exhibition exists in atmospheric suspension, where vulnerability becomes material, and echoes continue to reverberate. What emerges beyond the threshold of what once bound us? Saturday, May 16th 5-9PM 622 S Anderson St. Los Angeles, CA 90023 FREE Entry + Drinks for Purchase Music Set at 8PM

Lelde Cauka-Lopez (b. 1992) is a Latvian-born visual artist based in Los Angeles, known for her abstract and figurative acrylic paintings that blend her Northern European roots with her Californian surroundings. Her work explores themes of stillness, emotional depth, and transformation through recurring motifs like horses, urns, and abstract florals. These elements serve as metaphors for resilience, personal growth, and the human experience. Through color and form, Cauka-Lopez invites viewers to slow down and reflect, offering her paintings as meditative portals into the inner landscapes of presence, memory, and becoming. One of my goals this year was to participate and show my artwork in two shows. This is the first group show I committed to and showed my work with this amount of execution and new works since 2018. Also my first time sharing an audio piece that I want to continue developing in connection with @communitycloudco . Thankful for the opportunity to share at @beingthemuse with other amazing artists, for the support from community, and the feedback I received. #multimediaartist #artist #losangelesartist #groupshow

Victoria Burchette Owner of Being The Muse, as well as Women’s, and Men’s Designer, Featured one of her latest works: Celestial Amethyst, An overvest rendered in airy organza, featuring hand- and machine-stitched detailing that brings an artistic, tactile dimension. Sculptural gathers and voluminous ruffles create a dramatic, ethereal silhouette. A plunging deep V-neckline anchors the piece with bold elegance. The design explores avant-garde symmetry, balancing chaos and control through asymmetrical structure. It is a statement of motion, lightness, and conceptual form. New works by Luis Miguel Anaya Tea Cups In Mexico City , and Hollywood to Civic Center “This is the first painting of a new series I am working on of 20-25 portraits of people that have played a role in my life. This particular portrait is of someone I knew for a couple years before we became real friends. This series is going to investigate how my relationships with each individual changes each painting. For me, every single detail of my paintings is representative of something. Every color, the texture, the placement of certain details. There is a fine line between the conscious and unconscious. The more I paint, the more I realize how much my paintings teach me about myself and life. In life, many people go in and out of our lives. Some people you think will be around forever sometimes leave before those you thought wouldn’t be in your life long. As I get older, it has become more important for me to cherish those who stick with you. It has often surprised me who has been there when I needed a helping hand, and who hasn’t.” Please contact : [email protected] for purchase. Thank you
