In 2018, I got an opportunity to be mentored by an @optgafrica Board member, Dr. Funke Owolabi. It was exactly what I needed though I didn't even know at that time.
I remember being so overwhelmed by all the paths opening up before me - growing @bellissimabotanicals and launching my career as a content writer.
Dr. Owolabi guided me through the process of breaking my dreams into actions and working one step at a time to make them happen.
I'm not even halfway near my destination but I'm immensely grateful for how far I've come.
@bellissimabotanicals is more than a skincare line, it's a movement in #selfconfidence and #skinpositivity

Every once in a while, my passions take me on a journey: the most recent one being the Yàánga Vanguard Writers Retreat, organized by the @jrandlecentre with support from @lagosstategovt
Over a 2-week period, I had the opportunity to see punctuation differently, acknowledge the power of a well-written sentence, commune with fellow artists, immerse myself in the art and beauty of movement, and be inspired by industry thought leaders: @qudusonikeku@kunleafo , @simplyroli , @laniaisida , @aishaak49 , @olukukoyi , Vector and Jumoke Sanwo.
I also got to experience @afropolis_ , and because of it and the numerous conversations I had with the professional dancers that made it happen, I would never see dance as anything less than an art again.
I struggled to fit everything I witnessed into these 20 slides, and I remain grateful to the JRandle Center, Mr. Qudus, our tutor - Mr. Oris Aigbokhaevbo and all our guest facilitators for the experience 💛💫

My skin is oily/acne prone and this is what my go to morning skincare routine.
✨I start by washing my face.
✨Then I use the Anti Acne Toner to minimize breakouts and oil production.
✨Next is Perfecta Vitamin C serum which is an antioxidant serum that hydrates, brightens and protects my skin from environmental stressors and pollution.
✨I apply the Mulberry Face Cream next to moisturize my skin and target hyperpigmentation.
✨Finally, I apply sunscreen whether I'm going out or working from home to prevent UV damage.

We went to the private screening of @theboomerang_movie , directed by @mr_skope_echoya for @skope_moment
It was such an honor to work as the script editor on a feature length movie project that has central themes of rape & gender based violence.
Attending a @spotlightinitiative & @wiftinternational workshop last year filled me with a resolve to dedicate my voice to telling stories like Onome’s.
Working on this project felt like homecoming & fills me with so much anticipation for what’s to come.
Grateful to God for the gift of storytelling, Skope Entertainment for giving me free rein on the project & @yennie_f for her constant support.
Boomerang will be out on the big screen soon. Can’t wait for you to see it💃
