When the ability to easily communicate isnât innate, we might find different ways to show that we care.
A few pages of an attempt at putting some pieces together. The interests my mum has passed on to me and the good memories we created together, as well as how everything she has shared with me shaped who I am. From seeing the sun set over the sea, her handwriting (and the Portuguese proverbs she often repeats), to her favourite tone of blue.

Iâve recently taken part in the Emmas Winter Intensive workshop @wearetheemmas , where I had the chance to hear from wonderful photographers I admire and develop my practice alongside a lovely group of people.
These are images from when I started exploring the âencounterâ between the two places I find myself frequently moving between, often trying to figure out whether one can live without the other.
