This past year, I’ve had the true privilege of collaborating with two legends in the worlds of football and film: Carlo Ancelotti and Paolo Sorrentino. 🏆🎥 Today, we are all excited to formally announce the Carlo Ancelotti documentary film in development, directed by Paolo Sorrentino (@paolosorrentino_real ). Alongside an incredible core team, the film is produced by Francesco Melzi d’Eril (@francesco_melzi_deril ) for MDE Films, Chloe Barrena McClay (@chloe.barrena ), Celia Babini (@celiababinimusic ) and Buck Andrews (@buckandrews ) at Tart Productions (@tart.productions ), Gabriele Moratti for MeMo Films. Along with the amazing Andrea Gavazzi (@andgavazzi ). Special thanks to my brother and close collaborator Jordan Beard (@jordibeard ) for dropping everything to go to Madrid this time last May to get this incredible project in motion. Introducing “Janella”: a short film focused on Los Angeles-based football freestyler Janella Hernandez (@janellafstyle ), created by @whereisfootball in association with @re__inc . Directed by @brianchorski , “Janella” follows a day in the life of Hernandez as she’s moving through her neighborhood of Koreatown and nearby go-to spots, speaking about her driving ethos of women empowerment and her love for her city, and showcasing her expressive freestyle football skills while repping Guatemala everywhere she goes. 🇬🇹📍🌐 As a proud member of the United Nations Football For The Goals initiative, Where Is Football created “Janella” in association with @re__inc and in celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day. Last year I had the pleasure of partnering with @nikefootball and helping craft the concepting, strategy, and creative development for the campaign celebrating @brasil ’s star winger @ViniJr and his first ever signature boot. 🇧🇷 As Vini said yesterday, “racists are, first and foremost, cowards.” And no matter what and who tries to bring Vini down, he continues to silence the haters and enjoy the flight as his career ascends higher. Vini’s boot nodded to both his playstyle and his path that took him from São Gonçalo to Flamengo to Madrid to A Seleção, so naturally we created a signature airline representing those who play with a smile, and it’s going to be special to watch him lead Brazil higher as they search for the 6th star at the World Cup stateside. I set the intention at the start of this past year to focus more of my energy on things that don’t need to be rushed, that can come to life over months and years, not days or weeks. Creating distance from arbitrary deadlines to let things flow and unfold at a more natural pace has been a gamechanger, whether it’s with creative projects, friendships, or other general personal and professional spaces worthy of exploration. That intention in practice hasn’t always been perfect and I’m the first to admit it’s hard not to get caught up in the continuous flood of content causing overstimulation and feelings of not doing enough, but I’ve found that days spent slowing down with good people tend to create clarity – and room for what matters to be made. And on a purely professional note, 2025 allowed me with @beardprojects and the @whereisfootball team to work closely with the likes of the United Nations’ Football For The Goals initiative, Netflix, Airbnb, the Premier League, MLS, Nike, along with many athletes, artists, clubs, communities, confederations, and collaborators I admire. I haven’t been great at overtly saying it, but I really want to leverage all of my experience and connections from my career so far to partner with those looking to leave a positive impact on this summer’s World Cup. I mean if this isn’t what it’s all about, I don’t know what is. Gracias por todo @la.futcon 🌐❤️‍🔥 One of the things I’m most grateful for this year has been surrounding myself and meeting with passionate people I admire – particularly with projects across Latin America. So when @gordopelota and @quillaramos asked if I would fly to Buenos Aires for an independent futbol culture festival called @la.futcon , bring @whereisfootball in as a creative collaborator, and share a presentation at the iconic @cckonex , it felt like the culmination of where my energy has been directed in recent months. The presentation, titled “Free To Play” (Jugar Es Gratis), focused on what matters to me right now in my creative process and ahead of the World Cup. The entire week in Argentina was surreal, and a month later is still sinking in. Special thanks to @maycisneros for her endless support and giving me the courage to do my first presentation in Spanish, @ryan.arambula and @diag.space who helped me build and visualize the spirit of this message, and @zeets7 @zackygoldman @bijanberahimi @hendersonkendall @chrisburnettt @e.rasto @nathenmcvittie for consistently pushing me out of my comfort zone and keeping it real. Safe to say summer’s off to a strong start

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kylian since the 2018 World Cup, and it was special to watch him hit his stride at his first season at the club of his childhood dreams. From learning Spanish at a young age watching his idol be the star in Madrid to becoming Europe’s golden boot winner wearing his signature Mercurials, some dreams just can’t be slept on. We chose to gravitate around a simple, relatable truth that so much of what drives Kylian as one of the best in the world is his ongoing relationship with his inner child pushing him to realize the potential he saw within himself, always trusting his inner child to let him keep dreaming.
