@soon_isnow the climate and eco live performance and arts festival is on Sunday, October 19th from 1-5pm at Scenic Hudson's Long Dock Park, Beacon, NY. Free. Park at the train station. Founded and Directed by one of our members Eve Morgenstern, this festival raises awareness on climate through art. The logo design is by another one of our members @megmakeslesswaste & the graphic is by @amywhiteeyes Sign up for a tour of site specific works throughout the landscape at 2/2:30/3/3:30 See an exhibition in The River Center, participate in 'Scribble Scores' an art and music workshop in a Geodesic Dome for children & adults led by artists Matthew Mottel and Nicole Lattuca at 2pm, and join a special workshop "Mugwort Walk: Radical Kinship for a Future Earth," by Amy White Eyes at 1pm or 2pm before your tour (free). Just a few more days until our fundraiser to support the work of Reunite Migrant Families and families affected by ICE raids in our community! Hear from organizers about the current situation and how to help, then enter our raffle to win amazing prizes donated by local businesses, and check out the silent auction of artwork by incredible local artists. We hope to see you there!!

Join us on September 7th for a fundraiser to support our neighbors affected by ICE. We will have speakers, opportunities to join the cause, incredible baked goods, and a raffle with donations from local businesses and artists. Donations will support the work being done by Reunite Migrant Families, and to raise commissary funds for our neighbors detained by ICE.

📢‼️ Emergency Rally for Gaza this Saturday, 3pm in Kingston! Join us in solidarity to demand our elected officials end US military funding to Israel and stop starving Gaza. Bring signs, bring pots and pans to bang on, bring instruments! Access information: Academy Green Park is a public park in the Uptown district of Kingston. It is a mix of grass and cement, and is accessible via the sidewalk. Parking is generally available in the streets around the park. There are trees providing shade and several benches.

Calling all BEACON TENANTS! Learn about your housing rights, including under Beacon's Good Cause Eviction law, at our panel this Sunday, co-hosted with Beacon Climate Action Now.

Rent too damn high? Worried about housing security? We don’t blame you. Join us and @cvhaction at the @beaconlibrary on Sunday, June 22 to learn about your rights as tenants, what local services are available for support, and how to get involved in the fight for affordable housing in Beacon. Reflecting back on a beautiful evening of solidarity and care for Palestine 💪💕We were able to raise nearly $3000 together to support families in dire need in Gaza. So grateful to everyone who donated prizes for the raffle, and the many, many community members who came to break bread and stand up to genocide. This movement is about love, and last night epitomized that. (📹 on last slide from the amazing @hamadaltourah )

Join this community picnic on Tuesday, June 3rd at Long Dock Park in Beacon for free food, solidarity, and info on the Break the Bonds campaign. Riding high reflecting back on our fundraiser earlier this month for @beaconsbackyard . It was such a special evening filled with soup, solidarity, laughter, and great conversations with neighbors. In times like these, it’s never been more important to remember that we all have to take care of each other.
