Caring for others can be deeply meaningful, and sometimes it asks a lot of us.
Parents, caregivers, educators, and helping professionals are invited to join the Beacon Care Response Team for “Caring for Caregivers,” an interactive workshop focused on practical tools for managing stress, preventing burnout, and staying grounded during challenging moments.
Participants will leave with strategies they can use right away, along with space to reflect and connect with others.

Join us on Thursday, May 21 at 6 PM for a screening of Banned Together, a documentary exploring the rise of book bans and challenges across the country.
Following the film, we’ll host a Q&A and conversation with special guest Mandy Zhang, a Wappingers Falls graduate and Harvard University junior who gained national attention for fighting a local school book ban in 2022. Mandy has been featured in Forbes, The New York Times, and USA Today for her work in youth organizing and advocacy around access to books.
