On April 11th, from 7 to 9 pm Tunnel Projects presents āBad Bread Stringsā by artist Benjamin Chomitz. Benās first solo presentation appears in the form of a pop-up interactive performance. Visitors are invited to play the exhibited musical pieces and discover Benās philosophy of non-preciousness when it comes to constructing musical instruments. All people interested in joining by playing in the moment are welcome regardless of musical ability. In addition, Ben, as a studio resident, will be opening the doors of his workshop studio during our 4/20 event.
Ben builds musical instruments from discarded, reclaimed and found materials. His Instruments invite to comfortably explore music, sound, and craft in a familiar yet new way.
