tl;dr: it’s for sale. Make me an offer. Bring a trailer. (actually) Well, some of y’all were right. I know I’m going to catch a lot of shit for this. Story time and details below, but for those interested, please DM or Email me. This was my dream car, and my first car, purchased in 2004. Nearly 22 years ago! Safe to say I owe my career to this car - it’s where I first discovered my passion for tuning. After turning it into an absolutely belligerent street car in my early years, in 2011, I decided to turn it into a dedicated track/time attack car, and that’s where things went wrong. After multiple delays with fabrication, missed events, I put it aside and vowed to eventually complete the vision I’ve had for it. Unfortunately, scope creep got the best of me, I kept coming up with new ideas for it that seemed more and more out of reach without having the time to work on it. I was going to Evo 9 drivetrain swap it, then it was Evo X (complete powertrain with SAWC etc), and use it as a showcase for the sophistication of electronics and control systems now available. However, I have to be honest with myself that this project wouldn’t happen, at least anytime soon. I have 3 other cars I enjoy taking to the track, one being the ZHP that will get a B48 swap which is much more relevant to my current market and customer base.. and I need the room. Sorry to those who wanted to see it finished, but I hope the dream can live on with someone else who is ready to take it on. The car will need some fab work to mount the front aero, likely doing tubular radiator support and to finish the hood-exit radiator ducting project correctly. The car otherwise could probably be reassembled in 1-2 days and driven, although that’s not really the point of this project. #dsm #dsmgram #dsmnation #eclipsegsx #dsmtuners

12.5:1 Mahle, Shrick 288/280, extensive head and valvetrain work, on E70 fuel blend. Engine build by @parteeracingllc , running my @emtronworld Emtron KV8 Plug & Play ECU kit. Huge thanks to @europeanautosource for the dyno and letting me raid your racecar to test out different airboxes!

Some GT3 action from earlier this month. Still learning to trust this car but it’s proving easier to learn than I expected. Of course it requires a different driving style than the M3 but it just adds to the character. The chassis and especially the steering I find way more talkative, almost to the point of sensory overload. Didn’t want to push much more knowing I still needed to make it home.. Drove the ~750mi trip there and back, I’d say that’s a pretty successful weekend. - - - @996motoringclub @mezgersonly @996enthusiasts @996revival #996 #996gt3 #ferngreen #porsche #lagunaseca #mezger #emtron

Here's a long overdue post on one of our first projects with Carlos from @silverlakeprojects ! It's been a long time coming for Carlos and his 964 backdate, but it's almost there! This was essentially "Version 1" of our harness design and hardly bears any resemblance to what our harnesses look like now. Even so, we were able to work with the Ares and the @sublimesilverlake team to get the harness installed, perform a systems check to get it on the dyno. Now, with the help of Beau @bbrtuning for calibration, we've got our four liter friend running at a healthy 349HP! There's alot great details in the rest of the car that we didn't get to cover, but perhaps we'll get to share those with you once the car comes back from interior. In the meantime, please take a look at this beautiful engine bay featuring the Silverlake Projects carbon intake system. 📸: Trevor Woods @6footphoto

First time at the new BRP Circuit Track 2. Started off the day with rain and a wet track, slowly drying throughout the day which made things really interesting. I actually like this track despite it lacking high speed turns, it has a nice flow. CW13 is still the goat. I think the GT3 will do well here since it’s a good layout for trail braking. Fastest lap was set on lap 5 of last session, really impressed with the endurance of these V730s. Not the absolute fastest tire but great if you just want to drive and not worry about them. Response and feedback is nice as well. I think there’s a 52 in the car as-is. Can’t wait to come back. #buttonwillowcircuit #buttonwillow #s54 #e46m3

@brandoodle is a master of light and shadows. This was so fun to do (well, I just drove around, he did all the work)! I’ve only had this car for a few months and have been really loving it. It’s visceral, almost overwhelmingly so. It’s already so good, but can’t wait to get it fully dialed in 💚

[tldr swipe for dyno] Some updates on the M3 coming for those asking, this one from last year. Building a crazy NA S54 is a great way to set money on fire, but being that I tune so many of these engines, and have had mostly turbo engines in my life, I had to do it. I worked with @parteeracingllc to build what I believe is the limit of a streetable S54 keeping stock stroke and can live on 91 octane, with a full width powerband. Any higher CR or cam spec would have required running limited Vanos. 12.5:1 Mahle, Carrillo ltw NA rods, Shrick 288/280, Supertech lash cap 9k RPM valvetrain, custom CNC head work, and a few other tricks. Paired with 52mm throttles, SSV1 to dual 2.5” w cats, my own Emtron PnP ECU kit (Motec M150 at the time of the videos), ended up at 374whp on 91 octane and 383whp on E70 blend, SAE. I have a few ideas for the future to improve the top end a bit but I’m happy for now. Just over +100whp from stock at the same displacement, not mad about it. Huge thanks to Matt @techcraftperformance for doing the swap so quickly and perfectly so I could get it broken-in, on the dyno, and out at Willow Springs only a few days later!
