this car had some gnarly cracking on the front right and will be back soon for the upper reinforcement. Thank God people make that reinforcement, I dont have to purchashase that portion of the chassis from bmw and drill out all those spot welds!
welded up his left and right of the chassis and also added extra spot welds between
more e46 m3 chassis cracks. most people dont bother cleaning off the dust to see the broken spot welds. The spot welds rewelded and added more in between as well as welding above pinch welded frame where the 2 pieces meet at 90 degree angle. That 90 degree angle is where I laid a whole weld bead to fuse the crack that eventually leads to the spring upper top. In bad cases the factory spring hat spot welds break. In those cases I usually recomend the upper reinforcement that is at the top trunk area

quad turbo v12!! Just kidding. A e90 335i with n54 engine has a bad turbo. Car is completely stock and opted for the Oem Mitsubishi turbos that costed 1800 vs the oe bmw ones were around 2,600.
got s54? z3 m, e46 m3, and z4 m at the shop all at once. You could say I've built a love/hate relationship with these engines. Who needs a significant other when you got an s54?
so I was forced to do my radium fuel filler upgrade because I lost my previous cap at the gas station and didnt know the brand fuel filler the car was built with. Some improvements besides esthetically pleasing
1)the rear cover can now be unbolted with 4 bolts for the filler neck vs fighting to get the hoses from underneath small space while lining everything up. it was a . all bolts are 4mm allen bolts
2) all stainless steel tube,hardware included, and new fuel hose with all new clamps that all use 6mm hex
3) a few challenges were mating the 1.5" id radium fill neck to 1 7/8" at the tank. Making a plate to cover the holes from previous setup that was used, and having the filler sandwich with the stainless steel for a tight seal. centering that hole took some planning and mock up.
The paint markings look horrible but very necessary to keep the position so things line up. It was burned a little hotter than I like, but all this is covered up and not seen anyways
Customer had a bad center support bearing which created freeplay in the u joint. It was actually the same price if not cheaper to get a newly fabricated driveshaft nd more reliable. new cv joint, bigger u joint that is now replaceable, oe replacement center support and oe fitment guibo. u joint and cv joint are not bmw part but the center support and the gumbo are. made with thicker gauge DOM. more reliability and serviceable. discontinued through bmw. in 2017 the bmw driveshaft was $900. I have seen failed and not properly made driveshafts and axles. I am having high hopes on this one!
