My first project was to turn a ripped up sweater into a beanie.
Not perfect but it was fun.
Looking forward to starting an up-cycling chapter within my @lastroundphilly clothing brand.
Clothing is such a commodity and starting a “New” brand that sources garments internationally does not help the environment.
I’m challenging myself to take a stance and make a difference by reusing clothing.

Measuring clothes is something I’m not particularly used to. Give me a hoodie in size M or jeans in size 32 and I’m set.
But now, I can’t cut corners anymore.
If I want anything I wear to fit correctly, measurements must be taken at all times.
Different clothing, different manufacturers, and different brands have various ranges of measurements.
I wouldn’t feel right dropping off a hoodie that small enough to fit my 5 pound Yorkie but the sizing label says “Medium”. 😂
You learn something new everyday. Selectively or passively.

Trying some new things and revisiting some of the old.
This year I wanted to take my passion projects a little more seriously. @talkaboutbreaking & @lastround_ltd are two projects that came from my love for the breaking culture.
Realizing that nothing is perfect and nothing ever will be, I’m trying to focus more on living in the imperfections of things.
Inspiration comes from everywhere, so if you have something you want to tackle and don’t think it will work the way you want, try it anyway.
