BTS for music video promo tips ⬇️ things I’ve learned along the way as a music videographer.
➡️Creating cinematic music visuals requires a lot more creativity than budget. Go in with a plan and clear vision of how to achieve that look.
➡️Play the angles of your set to your advantage. We had one backdrop and RGB lights to work with, so don’t be afraid to move your subject where they fit. Use high and low vantage points to keep everything looking smooth.
➡️Make sure your client is on the same page that DIY is gonna be messier than a perfect set up. Both of you should work together to achieve the results you want.
➡️Use everyday props. I brought my fan from home to achieve the look of a studio wind. THERE ARE NO RULES
