Step into the breathtaking property that hosted the inaugural @_bubbles_and_botanicals_ event in Rosebay. Crafted by @bateslandscape a couple of years ago, this stunning space overcame several challenges, including shallow soil and difficult access. The picturesque @mylesbaldwindesign garden adds a touch of romance, perfectly complementing the 100-year-old home. Our very first @bateslandscape @_bubbles_and_botanicals_ was held at a stunning property we landscaped 2 years ago for @mylesbaldwindesign in Rosebay. The inspiration for this event came to me after attending many landscape functions and noticing that our industry — as wonderful as it is — can often feel very male-dominated. At awards nights, networking events, and industry gatherings, I’d often think how lovely it would be to create something just for the ladies: a chance to reconnect with old colleagues and friends, meet like-minded women, be inspired by others in the field, and simply enjoy great company in a relaxed environment. So, over a long lunch (and a couple of glasses of wine!), I floated the idea with a small group of amazing women and the support was instant. While it was a great event we managed to raise over $6,000 for @whiteribbonaust - working to end violence against women and children in Australia.
