This Photobook is a celebration of those creative & technical relationships that have shaped this diverse body of 25 projects over 25 years.
'Fig Tree House' has been approved by @waverleycouncil .
In response to the constrained two-way sloping site, the Fig Tree House is inspired by the grandeur and geometry of the under canopy of the Hills Fig tree.
Nestled within foliage and dappled sunlight, the house is composed of a series of overlapping horizontal planes that bench into and slide down the two-way sloping site.
The project encapsulates a series of strategic moves - the split level diagram pinwheels around a vertical core that defines the landscape, building form and spatial interiors, while optimising natural light, cross-ventilation and district views.
